UpFront Exhibition Space will start its End of Summer 2011 Show on August 4th. This show will run through September 30th. The public is invited to attend the end of summer artist’s reception on Saturday August 20th from 6-9 PM. In celebration, at the Reception, UpFront will present a live drum presentation by Obi Kaye along with complimentary food and refreshments.

UpFront currently has 28 artists of all mediums including the work of Paris Artist Christophe Boutin “Rue blanche” circa 1986, oil on Canvas with custom lead frame. Measures 62"x92 1/2" with frame. This large painting will be offered for sale by a private collector.. The art of Boutin has been shown throughout the world. ///3 The UpFront artists featured for this show include:

4 Year Anniversary & Spring Opening with Artist’s Reception April 16th 6 – 9PM

UpFront Exhibition Space will open its doors for its 4th season on April 1, 2011. This proves to be the most successful year for UpFront. We currently have 30 artists of all mediums scheduled for the Spring Show.

The public is invited to attend the Spring opening reception on Saturday, April 16th from 6-9 PM. Show dates are: April 1 through May 31. In celebration, at the Reception, UpFront will present live music by Talking Machine along with complimentary refreshments.

We have assembled an eclectic group of exciting young and seasoned Artists. Included in the exhibit are:

UpFront Exhibition Space Spring Opening Artist’s Reception April 10th 6 – 9PM

UpFront Exhibition Space, located at 31 Jersey Avenue, - in the historic downtown business district of Port Jervis, NY - is pleased to announce its Spring 2010 opening and Artists Reception.

The public is invited to attend the opening reception featuring the work over 25 Artists on Saturday, April 10th from 6-9 PM. Show dates are: April 1 through May 31. In celebration, at the Reception, UpFront will present live music by Joe Foss along with complimentary wine & cheese.

We have assembled an eclectic group of exciting young and seasoned Artists. Included in the exhibit are:

To celebrate the 1st New York Week for the Animals, the community-minded, animal-loving owners of Up Front Exhibition Space, Port Jervis' premier art gallery, are hosting a special all-day exhibit of animal artwork from talented local artists. Fabulous paintings of animals will be on display and for sale -- a portion of all proceeds sold is being donated to Humane Society of Port Jervis to help the needy homeless dogs and cats in the community.

Special guest artist Laura Bolle of Freedom Paws will be on hand with some of her amazing animal work - stop by for this opportunity to meet her in person.

Adoptable cats from the humane society will be there too!.. The annual Port Jervis Fall Foliage Festival will be going on all day in town--so be sure to plan a visit and stop in the gallery to see the stunning artwork, meet fellow animal lovers, and the sweet cats too! The 'Art for the Animals' event is free -- light refreshments will be served and the public is warmly invited to stop by.

Steven Paul Riddle and Barbara A.G. Riddle have joined Debbie Raia and Gordon Graff at the UpFront Exhibition Space as Managing Directors. Steven is an award winning artist as well as a former business banker and Barbara is an artist and as well as an experienced gallery development professional. They have operated two previous galleries; Studio Sfumato, an art studio and gallery for developmentally disabled outsider artists and owners of Studio Chi Rho, a successful event driven art gallery in Saint Petersburg, Florida. Steven said, "We feel honored to participate with Debbie and Gordon in the continued success of UpFront, the areas premier art gallery." the Friends of the Port Jervis Free Library will host an evening of art, wine, hors d’oeuvers and dessert to celebrate the 80th birthday of Chris Farlekas.

Chris, President of the Port Jervis Free Library, writer, advocate of the arts is a Port Jervis native and a true community treasure.

Tickets are $15.00 each and all proceeds will honor Chris in benefiting projects of the Friends of the Port Jervis Free Library.

Pike County Humane Society Fundraiser May 16th

Silent Auction with proceeds going to the needy animals at the Pike County Humane Society, for a 1906 lifetime etching by Renoir! "Femme nue assise" is beautifully matted and framed, truly an awesome piece.
